I love working with colour, tone and shapes. Starting off with blocks of colour, I paint in broad expressive strokes, then stand back and see what emerges to me. Refining as I go, I add in lines and different tones to create a harmonious abstract landscape. With this artwork I used bold colours and tried to steer away from blues and greens which is my go-to palette. I love the richness of this one and the way you feel you can dive into the paint.
