I love doing abstract landscapes - I start with large swathes of colour and then refine the artwork into blocks, using line, form, tone and colour to create an abstract landscape. To me, this painting is a modern take on a water and hills scene, which I am surrounded by and infiltrates my subconscious. I do not use a reference photo, but lots of my artwork uses blues and greens as I live by the ocean. I hope you can see something that speaks to you.
